Jaguar XF gets new interior and price list

Added: 16 November 2020

Jaguar XF gets a facelift and is back looking sleeker than ever. Jaguars have always been a coveted and luxury looking car. Known as a fine saloon car, and was the go-to for many who were looking for a soft and luxurious drive.

However, the Jaguar XF was due for an upgrade, and it got one. Not only that but with the new look came a newer price too. The interior update outweighs the exterior, but both add to the overall aesthetic appeal of the car.

The exterior changes give the Jaguar XF a new front bumper, and the mesh grille is now wider. The new LED headlights are a great addition; the back bumper and darkened taillights are all excellent. And, of course, the Jaguar Leaper.

However, it is the interior of the Jaguar XF that has been given the biggest update.

The redesigned centre console is one of the first things you will not. And it is equipped with the Pivi Pro infotainment system. The 11.4-inch touchscreen is easy to use and crisp to look at, featuring Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Another highlight is a new 12.3-inch digital driver’s display. The seats have been given a new trim finish and new seats too. The inside mimics the interior of the recently updated F-Pace.

The engine line-up has been given a tweak too. The revised lin-up is the same as the announced line-up for the XE compact exec. The line up includes the 204hp diesel mild hybrid, the 250hp and 300hp petrol options.

The Jaguar XF has been fitted with a new 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine with a 48v mild-hybrid setup. It delivers 204PS of power, which is 24PS more than its predecessor.

The mild-hybrid, which utilises a 48V battery to support the engine and gives a smooth stop-start system, provides an official CO2 emission of 130g/km. Not only that, but the fuel economy is up to 54.2mpg.

Eight-speed automatic transmissions os the standard throughout the entire range, but all-wheel drive comes into play with the 300hp petrol, but optional with the diesel mild hybrid.

Drivers and passengers can also enjoy the over-the-air software updates, as well as the cabin air ionisation and filtration system. This smart system captures all of the allergens and ultra-fine particles found in the air; gives the cabin crips and clean air. Perfect for a comfortable drive.

You might’ve heard about how much of an impact low-noise while driving can have on drivers fatigue levels. Well the XF is now equipped with a new active noise-cancellation system.

The XF is currently only sold in the Prestige petrol variant at Rs 55.67 lakh (ex-showroom). Expect Jaguar to introduce the facelifted model in 2021.

The revised XF is available to order now. Prices start from £32,585 for a saloon, and £35,990 for the Sportbrake estate version.
